Hello friends! I thought I would give y'all a little bit of an update of what the last few months have been like for me and where God is leading me through it all. I have always wanted to go on a 9 month mission trip to an amazing third world country and get to spread the love of Jesus to the little children there. After graduating High-School I realized that there were so many programs that offer 9 month international mission trips. It did not take me long to simply give up because I did not know how I was supposed to know which one God wanted me to go on. I decided instead to go work at Wind River Ranch for 5 months this past summer, while working there I met several people who had been on the World Race:Gap year or work/had worked for Adventures in Missions. The passion for this mission and high recommendations that I kept seeing over and over again made me do some digging. After much prayer, consideration, and God repeatedly pushing me forward I decided to go ahead and sign-up for the Activation Route. A couple days later I got a call saying I was officially accepted! Soon thereafter I was introduced to my team and it has been so awesome getting to know them and their amazing hearts that are fully dedicated to serving Jesus. I am so excited to see what God has in store for this trip and I ask that you continue to pray as I prepare for this incredible journey.
