The amount of prayers I have prayed and God has been gracious enough to answer this week has absolutely blown me away. From the little “Lord make it sunny today” to “the Lord give me your joy”. He has taught me so much.

Not only has he answered so many of my prayers that I have been able to physically see but He has confirmed through other people that so many of the prayers that I have been praying internally for my self and things that I want to see changed in myself, other people have been seeing that change that I was praying for.

One of those things that I had been praying for a couple months was that I just want to be in complete awe of who the Lord is. and wow if you aren’t in awe of him just ask. He will make you in awe. I promise.

Some of y’all may have seen that my team raised money for Christmas to give to families in need this season. Our goal was $500, we posted and the next day we had $2,757 sitting in our venmo’s. THATS CRAZY!

So on Christmas Eve my team (I was very sickly so I did not go) went to the La Bodegona and got so much food. Packed the truck over-flowingly full, and hauled it all back to the base. we were able to make 100 bags of food to give to 100 different families. And we still have over $1,600 left and are going to have to go get more food!

Like God, the creator or the world, was gracious enough to let me be just a little part of making someone’s Christmas’s a little better. He let me see the joy on their face when they realized that God had provided for them once again. He let me be that answered prayer. He let me see the mother’s worry leave her face as she realized she now had food to feed her kids for the next couple days. He let me show them the love that He has shown me so abundantly. He let me receive the generosity that they showed us after we gave them the food basket.

Seeing the joy and the generosity that those we gave food baskets to was so incredible. One family we gave them a basket and they immediately turned around and asked if they could make us all some ham sandwiches with the bread we had just brought them. They were so quick to give back to us when we had given to them. How often is my first reaction to turn around and bless the person that just blessed me?

So anyway God is pretty cool if you haven’t figured that out yet. And my challenge to you this week is to ask God to make you in awe of Him in all the little things that He does, and let me know what He does.

I hope y’all had a Merry Christmas and got to rest and rejoice in the fact that our Savior was born and came to earth for us. Love y’all and have a happy new year!
